The essay deals with the subject of contractual change of circumstances and related remedies. In particular, the work focuses on the debate on the possibility of configuring a legal renegotiation obligation in the Italian legal system. The critical examination of favorable positions allows us to offer a more precise reading on the margins of application of the renegotiation.
